Are your car washes safe for my car?
Absolutely! We don't touch your vehicle, so we can't scratch it! Also,we use biodegradable soaps and waxes that are PH balanced and specially formulated for vehicle finishes. Back to top
Will the undercarriage of my car be harmed?
No,just the opposite! Our underbody blast will actually preserve the protective coating of the undercarriage,removing salt,sand and road contaminants that can damage your vehicle if not regularly washed. Back to top
Should I use dish detergent on my car at home?
No! Dishwashing detergents are designed to strip grease and grime and will actually strip off any wax protection on your finish. The solutions used in both our automatic and self-serve wash bays are specifically designed for vehicle finishes. Back to top
Will my SUV or pickup truck fit in your carwash?
Yes. SUV's,vans,and light duty trucks up to 7 feet tall (including extended cab and 4 door short box pickups) can be accommodated in all of our bays. Extended cab, 4 door LONG box and dual wheel pick-ups can only be washed in the 12'6" Self Serve truck bay. Back to top
Should I be concerned about my radio or satellite antenna when I use the Rainmaker Automatic Touchfree CarWash?

How often should I wash my vehicle?
Washing a vehicle is very important. You must keep pollen,dust,dirt,salt and grime from adhering to the surface and possibly damaging the paint. You should wash your vehicle at least once a week to prevent damage and corrosion or more often when it rains or snows. During periods when the roads are salted and the temperature hovers around 32 degrees, wash as much as every other day or so to prevent corrosion. Back to top

Does the triple foam polish and clear coat protectant really make a difference?
Yes, the triple foam adds foaming polish with protectant which adds shine and aids in the drying process. The clear coat protectant protects the paint surface against acid rain, and UV rays, keeping your vehicle cleaner, longer. Back to top
What is acid rain and how does it affect my car's finish?
Emissions from chemical plants,industrial fallout,surface contaminents and other organic and inorganic materials are all components of acid rain. When these elements are deposited on your car's surface in a dry state,it appears as dust. When the dust gets wet from dew or rain,or snow,you now have a sulfuric acid mixture on your vehicle's paint finish. If this is left for any period of time,especially in direct sunlight,etching may occur on the finish. Damage from acid rain can range from slight discoloration to pitting. Why do car finishes fade?
Paint is designed t o reflect light,which creates a shine. Ultraviolet rays damage paint and the way light is reflected. In addition to keeping your vehicle out of the sunlight as much as possible, washing regularly will minimize the oxidation process,greatly reducing the chances that the finish will dull. Back to top

How come my car never looks as clean when I wash it at home with my pressure washer?
It's Chemistry! We use hot water that has been softened with top-of-the-line soap and professional equipment,to provide a better spot-free wash. To ensure you get the best wash we also monitor our soap quality on a daily basis. Back to top
Do you use reclaimed or recycled water?
No. We always use fresh, hot, softened water. Back to top
Can I wash my trailer at your facilities?
No. Due to the fact that washing in the self srve bays may require backing out of the bay we have experienced damage to our buildings and trailers when they have been brought in. Trailers also inconvenience our other customers. We would recommend taking a trailer to one of the older multi-door facilities around town as those washes will allow you to pull your vehicle and trailer through the bay. Back to top
Do you adjust your timers depending on traffic flow or time of the year?
No, we do not. Like any business we review our prices occasionally as our input costs such as wages, taxes, utilities, and supplies increase, but we limit our changes to no more than once per year if at all. Back to top
Why do the wands spray without pulling the trigger?
This feature is called a weeping wand. When a wash cycle is active the wand puts out a low-pressure spray that allows our customers greater ease in washing certain areas such as door sills and engines,or furnace filters from their home. Pulling the trigger will give you the high pressure that you need for general vehicle washing. Back to top
Can I get change on site?

How much clearance does your facility have?

What happens if I insert extra coins during my wash cycle?
Inserting extra coins at any time during your wash cycle will add additional time. This can be helpful during situations when you want longer time from the wash, such as when cleaning larger vehicles. Back to top
